This machine has really increased efficiency in the shop over the Kreg Foreman I was using. I particularly like the single stroke of the lever that performs both the pocket cut and drills the screw hole. Other machines in this category require two strokes, one forward and one backward, to produce the full pocket. Again, efficiency and increased productivity. BUT, to maximize the machine’s capability it REQUIRES the optional 3/8 Ruffer router bit and collet. It ships with a standard 2 flute straight cut router bit but they quickly overheat and dull, slowing down production. The Ruffer bit is SO much better that it ought to come standard with the machine rather than the straight cut bit.
