4 Axis of Automated Movement

We automated 4 axis of movement on the SpeedWorx Saw. This provides fast and accurate part cutting.

• Y, Z & C Travel of Motor Carriage
• X-Track with Linear Push Positioning system advances panels through rip (horizontal) cutting and positions panels for (vertical) crosscutting operations.
• Y-Axis Automated motion of the carriage via, V-Track Steel Precision Guides (4) for Saw Rotation and corresponding V-Shaped Bearings (8) for Carriage Vertical Travel.
• Z-axis and C-axis motion allow the saw blade retraction and rotation for indexing with smooth motion and increased safety.

Software & Controls & Safety Features:

• Utilizing touchscreen controls the machine includes software features and integration with all major Wall Panel Design Software and also processes  CSV files.
• Software functions include optimization including the capability to incorporate favorites and tools to process full-sized sheets as well as easily repurpose partial sheets and drop/scrap material.
• Integrated Safety Features include a total enclosed blade and motor carriage with integrated E-Stops PLUS panel sensing and positive operator input to enable cutting motion.

Easy to use interface

The SpeedWorx software was created to make the saw easy to use while giving the operator the control they need to efficiently cut the parts your shop needs in the order they need them. With the “Auto-Fill” feature, the touch of a button will create an optimized cutting solution based on settings provided by the operator.

Motor:

• Continuous Duty Induction Motor (3 Hp 3~ 208/230V) driven via Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).

Frame Size & Material:

• Vertical Steel Welded Frame Design with 25’ Overall Length Frame Extension with Integrated Stand.

Dust Control:

• Multiple 4″ Dust Ports (2), side shields, and center-rear dust channel coupled with a traveling tensioned ‘dust sheet’ from under the motor carriage all enable maximum dust control*

Site Requirements:

• Requires 30 amp 230/3/60 incoming power
• Requires 5 cfm x 100 psi compressed air supply
• Required Dust Collector (600+ CFM)
